We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the App, express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and services, or otherwise when you contact us. The personal information we collect depends on the context of your interactions with us and the App, the choices you make and the products and features you use.

• Personal Information Provided by You: We collect names; email addresses; phone numbers; passwords; contact preferences; and other similar information.
• Financial Information: When you make payments via Stripe or Razorpay, we collect data necessary to process your payment, such as your payment instrument number and the security code associated with your payment instrument.
• Device Data: We collect device information such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, and information about how and when you use our App.

We use personal information collected via our App for a variety of business purposes described below. We process your personal information for these purposes in reliance on our legitimate business interests, in order to enter into or perform a contract with you, with your consent, and/or for compliance with our legal obligations.

• To facilitate account creation and logon process.
• To post testimonials with your consent.
• To request feedback and contact you about your use of our App.
• To enable user-to-user communications (e.g., roommate expense split notifications).
• To manage user accounts and keep the service in working order.
• To send administrative information to you.

We only share information with your consent, to comply with laws, to provide you with services, to protect your rights, or to fulfill business obligations. This includes sharing data with your verified flatmates to facilitate expense manual entries and shared chores.

We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under 13 years of age. By using the App, you represent that you are at least 18 or that you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to such minor dependent's use of the App. If we learn that personal information from users less than 13 years of age has been collected, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records.

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse.
